The Presidency is comprised of the President and the two Vice-Presidents. The President holds office for three years and is not eligible for re-election. The Vice-Presidents deputise for the President in her absence.

The Board is comprised of the President and eight members (including the Vice-Presidents), who are current or former Rectors. The Board meets at least three times a year and is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Association's policy, the planning of its activities, and the management of its affairs.
